Welcome, friends, to our Championship Qualifier Production Car Trial. Again this year we are very proud to have been asked to be part of both the RACMSA and the AP BORG & BECK/BTRDA as well as the ACSMC Championship. In line with most other RAC/BTRDA rounds, we are running the event on a dual permit - National 'B'/Club Status (B.4.1.5). If you are contesting any of the Championships you must run in the National 'B' category. To do this you will need a minimum of a Clubman's licence - these can be applied for on the day by completing a form and paying the fee. To be eligible for the 'Club' event you must be a member of either Southern Car Club, Falcon Motor Club or Borough 19 Motor Club and all you need is your club membership card. CHANGE OF VENUE
The site we have used over the last few years in Leatherhead is currently being turned into a golf course so, with the assistance of Falcon Motor Club, we have moved North to make our event a little closer to all all our friends in the Midlands but still within easy reach of our local competitors. Our new venue this year is at Green Farm, Kensworth, just off Junction 9 on the M1 (only 8 miles from the M25) a previously used site that has a good selection of smooth grass hills complemented with a steep wooded bank to one end for a bit of variety. Unfortunately Sue and I will not be able to be there on the day this year so we have engaged the help of Colin Weeks, an experienced trialler over many years and known to most of you, I am sure, as the driver of the orange and yellow Mini. On the more domestic side we will have both 'on site' catering and toilets, for your convenience, making the whole day, we hope, enjoyable for all concerned. We are pleased to welcome again our friends from Xenogamy plc as the Event Sponsor. We will also have our computerised results system, courtesy of Tim Hines, which will keep you informed all day long with fully detailed positions, both in class and overall, after each and every round. Please get your entry in early to save all those last minute panics - contact Colin Weeks on trial@coxhill-group.demon.co.uk, or print off and send the Entry Form If you can't enter but would like to marshal please contact Brian Hugh on 0181-462-4004. Please come and support our event and whatever part you play I hope you have an enjoyable and rewarding day.
