Rob Arthur
will be tackling the Historic section of the Vauxhall Rally of Wales with Tony Pond in the Beatty Crawford Porsche 911.
Roger Binyon
has given up all hope of finding the "lucky navigator" who will get him a finish. He will therefore be trying a solo outing, taking the Montego rallycrossing at Lydden Hill next weekend.
John Blaber/Alan Jamieson
worked hard to finish the conversion of last year's A6 car into this year's A7 205 GTi in time for the Winter Rally. They had their first problem before the start ramp when a rear brake line split. Despite this they set good times on the first three stages. However, ignition failure on stage 4 put paid to their challenge.
Helen Davey/Graham Davey
took their Sunny out on the Valentine Scatter in the lanes around Reading on map 175. The only reported incident came as they approached a GATSO speed camera. Graham shouted "camera", pulled the handbrake and the car slithered past the 30 sign. The pairing survived to finish 5th in semi-experts and 9th overall from a good turnout of 32 starters.
Colin Early/Colin Hutchings
will have their first run of the year in the Darrian which has been lowered since last year.
Tony Jardine
was out on the Winter Rally with Louise Goodman in the RAC Insurance Escort Cosworth, coming fifth in class and a most respectable 15th overall. Following on from the RAC and the Arctic, this rally was most un-Wintery.
Vanessa Linley/Joe White
will be out on the Spring Stages at Goodwood in Ness's Nova.
Justin Northage/Catherine Phillipson
went out on the Winter Rally for Justin's first experience of British rallying, in a hired 205. The expedition came to a rather thorough halt when the front suspension collapsed in an extremely muddy patch of SS13.
Sue Orchard/Neil Cloughley
hope to be out in Sue's reshelled Metro on the Spring Stages at Goodwood. Will the Nova and the Metro be in the same class? This should bed the car down for the Circuit of Ireland - a rather larger circuit.
Sue Orchard/Graham Morris
used the TI Motorsport's Clio hire car on the Cheviot. Sue preferred the handling to the "bouncy box" Metro and brought the car home 2nd in class - her third time in a row on this event.
Richard Phillipson/Graham Davey
just might be out on the Printemps scatter on map 186 round Guildford.
Richard Phillipson/Catherine Phillipson
came 3rd in class N3 and 57th overall on the Wyedean. They are now leading their class on the Welsh National Forestry Championship although as Richard will be missing the next round (the Panaround) this triumph will be short-lived.
James Potter
has been taking a turn with the maps, co-driving for Polli Patti on the Wyedean. They were forced to retire with brake failure after stage 5.
On the Winter Rally he was again in the hot seat, this time with Christopher Batchelor in an A8 Sierra Sapphire. Charging hard after a relatively slow start on the first three tarmac stages, they were lying 12th overall when their rally came to an abrupt end in a tree on the final stage.
Mark Straker
is completing the rebuilding of his Ford crossflow engined Sunbeam. The car is repainted in red and white and is due for a trip to the rolling road after a head rebuild. The next outing should be Avon Park and this year Mark is planning to get out on some Motoring News rounds even further afield than Millbrook.
