Rally car hire company 22 Motorsport, will for the second year running, support the entire safety services network on this year's Bournemouth-based Rally Sunseeker, round one of the ANCRO National Rally Championship, on Saturday 23rd February.

22 Motorsport will provide backing to ensure that the best safety facilities for competitors and spectators are available, running under the catchphrase "22 Motorsport - Supporting Safer Rallying". The Chief Medical Officer, seven rally doctors, the safety radio network, two St. John's Ambulance units, 14 licensed Rescue and Recovery Units, the Chief Safety Officer, seven Stage Safety Officers, the Spectator Control Course Car and the Dorset Police for traffic and spectator control will all be provided for.

"We all know that a rally cannot run without the full complement of safety services and facilities in place and this is often a major budget consideration for organisers." said Rick Smith, Clerk of the Course for the Rally. "To know that for the second year in succession, we do not have to worry about finding funds for the rally's safety precautions is a great relief.
